Volunteers from all over the world have visited Nangi to work on a variety of projects from tree planting to teaching English in the school. Volunteer doctors, nurses, medics, herbalists and therapeutic practitioners worked side by side with Rupa learning from each other. Each person who inhabits this planet deserves a book written about their life because every life has value and meaning. However, if I were to write a book about Rupa it would be in volumes…close to the Encyclopedia Britannica in magnitude…or a modern day Wikipedia. Volumes to describe the many lives she touched and healed; the many lives she birthed into this world, and the many lives she helped ease into their journey beyond. She was a nurse-midwife, daughter, sister, wife, mother, friend, healer, and farmer. Her spirit was quiet and courageous…she could move mountains with her dedication and passion...
